Parents Knock Back Merger At Two Adelaide Schools

It looks like students at Pasadena High School can stay put for now.

Plans to merge the Daws Road campus with Unley High School have been voted down by parents.

The suggestion was to sell the land at Pasadena for private development, keeping only the basketball stadium and trade training centre.

Money from the sale would’ve gone to a re-vamp at Unley, estimated at $30 million.

The once-popular school of around 1,200 students now has just 150 attending this year.
